Essentials for the Less Fortunate
This has been one of the coldest winters for New Hampshire, with Mount Washington setting a record for coldest wind chill ever in the US, recorded at minus 108 degrees, on Friday, February 3rd 2023. (Learn more about that here) While we can not provide shelter, we would like to be able to provide the less fortunate with some sort of means to stay warm, as well as some hot food. It may not be much but all we can do is try to help out in any way we can!
Our Purpose
The purpose of this project is to provide warm food, hygiene products, and necessities for keeping warm to people who are less fortunate. We will do this by using the donations given to purchase the supplies needed. A small portion of donations will be used for travel expenses (gas).
Each care package costs $7.78 and includes all items listed (besides food preparation supplies).

To help the less fortunate stay warm and fed.
Our Goal
We hope to be able to feed those who are hungry and provide warmth to those who don’t have the same living conditions as us.
Our primary focus items:
Food and food preparation supplies.
Items that provide warmth.
Food Items:
- Hot dogs (We will be purchasing these at our local market)
- Buns (We will be purchasing these at our local market)
- Non-perishable foods
Items That Provide Warmth:
- Blankets
- Hats
- Gloves
- Socks
- Hand warmers
Supplies:
- Paper bags to store the non-perishable food items
- Tinfoil to wrap the hot dogs
- Gloves for food preparation
- Plastic Silverware
- Drawstring bags to store the hygiene products and products that provide warmth
- Plastic pencil cases/bags to store hygiene products
